    Cette s\u00e9rie est compos\u00e9e de quatre images repr\u00e9sentant une femme dans tr\u00e8s exactement la m\u00eame position, et d’une plaque r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissante symbolisant de l’eau.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Deux interpr\u00e9tations<\/strong> sont possible en voyant cette s\u00e9rie.<\/p>\n

    On ne peut s’emp\u00eacher d’avoir une vision sentimentale<\/strong> de la sc\u00e8ne, de voir une femme en souffrance, fig\u00e9e par l’effroi.
    \nSes yeux sont tourn\u00e9s vers le ciel, comme si elle implorait une divinit\u00e9 salvatrice. Le niveau de l’eau monte inexorablement, rien ne peut l’arr\u00eater. La s\u00e9rie \u00e9voque les quelques instants avant sa mort par noyade et rompt ainsi avec la grande tradition picturale de la repr\u00e9sentation des noy\u00e9s qui remonte \u00e0 l’Antiquit\u00e9 jusqu’\u00e0 des p\u00e9riodes plus contemporaines et qui montre le corps horizontalement, flottant \u00e0 la surface de l’eau, apr\u00e8s la noyade. Il s’agit ici de faire sentir l’\u00e9tat de tension pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant la mort plut\u00f4t que la cons\u00e9quence de celle-ci.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    L’autre interpr\u00e9tation est math\u00e9matique et li\u00e9e \u00e0 la 3D.<\/strong>
    \nL’important dans ces images est l’axe de translation de la plaque, visible \u00e0 gauche de chaque image. Cet \u00e9l\u00e9ment vend la m\u00e8che et d\u00e9truit l’illusion. Nous sommes face \u00e0 une image virtuelle, juste des points dans l’espace et des calculs math\u00e9matiques. D’une image \u00e0 l’autre, le seul changement est la position sur l’axe Y d’une plaque<\/strong>, le titre en indique \u00e0 chaque fois la valeur en Y.<\/p>\n
