L’oeil de Moscou #1. 2004. 28 seconds infinite loop.

Still frames from L’oeil de Moscou #1

A graphics film totally made up of computer images, based on transparency, on a plain grey background… The film creates a minimalistic world in which the spectator’s mind can wander freely. Bottles move around, unaided. Like the universe, they create a structure and find their own place. Shape, movement, transparency: a strange, organized dynamic is set up in which the bottles become a simple optical pretext, a bewitching kinetic motif. The music adds to the strangeness of the film and pulls the spectator into an unending spiral.
